It’s been a great week for construction at the Dr. Louis A. Venson Senior Lofts in Pittsburgh’s Beltzhoover neighborhood. Mistick Construction is making steady progress on this redevelopment, which includes the renovation of the former Beltzhoover Elementary School and a new addition to create 39 units of affordable senior housing.

The school, vacant since 2004, has been a neighborhood landmark for over 100 years. Generations of families passed through its halls and now it's being transformed into a new place to call home for local seniors.
