Mistick Construction served as the General Contractor for Washington Trust Phase II, the continued revitalization of a historic landmark in the heart of Washington's cental business district on East Beau Street. Building on our successful completion of Phase I, this phase further transformed former office space on ground floor and floors 2-6 into 25 units of multifamily affordable housing.
The project, developed by TREK Development with architectural partners Clearscapes and Lab 8 Designs, Inc. utilized both historic tax credits and 9% Low-Income Housing Tax Credits. Work included interior demolition, installation of new windows and mechanical systems, and renovations in accordance with National Park Service Historic Building requirements. Partial renovation on the first floor converted space of the former bank into a welcoming community area, preserving architectural character while enhancing functionality.
