Mistick Construction
began work on The Liberty Park Apartments in July of 2006. The
project encompasses 5.44 acres comprised of one larger block and
one smaller block. There are 124 rental units planned for sixteen
wood frame buildings, each with two or three stories. The project
includes construction of a paved parking lot and a detached maintenance
garage.
The sixteen
buildings will include triplexes, townhouses, and garden (flat-style)
buildings with corridors. Five distinct styles of architecture
are planned, involving masonry, siding, siding panel wall material,
and sloped shingle roofs. Several buildings will include porches,
decks, and patios.
Since mobilizing on the site, Mistick has poured all of the concrete
slabs making each of the 16 buildings ready to frame. We have
begun framing four buildings to include Building Type 600, 400
and 200. Site utilities are being coordinated with contractors
working for the Urban Redevelopment Authority. Mistick is proceeding
on schedule.
